Founder Brook Harvey Taylor’s fascination with the magical world of scents began when as a teen, she picked up a copy of author Tom Robbins’ novel Jitterbug Perfume. For a girl who had always been aware of the world of scents (as a child, Brook was fascinated with blending kitchen spices), Robbins’ book was an invitation to followher nose and promised that if she did, wonders would await. From the beginning, Brook and Billy had a grassroots vision. They believed that if they invested in the quality of their products and the fragrance experience, rather than marketing, people who fell in love with Pacifica would spread the word. They were right. Their devout following of fragrance aficionados and earth-conscious connoisseurs deeply value Brook’s fresh approach to perfuming, which enhances rather than overwhelms. Her blends are sophisticated and complex, yet, fun, happy, and easy to wear. They come to life differently on each person, becoming a unique and integral part of them. People also trust Brook’s thoughtful attention to formulating natural, safe, and sustainable products.Today, Pacifica is a breath of fresh, ocean air in the world of fragrance. Heralded from the beginning for the unique nuance and complexity of their blends, Pacifica fragrances are authentic expressions of the couple’s belief in beautiful scents to experiment with and wear every day. Most of all, Pacifica is an expression of the pure joy of being alive. With an intense respect for the inspiring power of fragrance, Brook and Billy are honored to know that their products carry genuine happiness into their customers’ hearts and homes and linger in their fondest memories.
I have a few of the solid perfumes and a ton of the roll ons. Whether you prefer woody, fruits, florals etc. Pacifica has you covered. I am partial to Lime Papaya and Persian Rose. I keep these fragrances stocked everywhere because the scents are perfect and the prices are right. I love to mix and match them too! Because they are natural, they can wear off quicker, but when they smell this good, who cares?!
