Laura Mercier for the Holiday

The kids have been home for almost a week now.  The presents are unwrapped and you are getting closer to welcoming in the New Year.  Most parents I know like to make New Year's special.  We like to ring it in either at a party, or even a get-together at our own home.  I don't know about you, but my eyes look like Uncle Fester from the Adam's Family.  I am TIRED.  The holiday has a lot of build-up and those early morning wake-up calls are no fun.

Laura Mercier turns that around.  I plan on using Secret Camouflage which allows me to customize the color I need to keep my face looking brighter.  It is like magic in a compact.  It even works well on sensitive skin.  No more red blotches and dark circles.  From Zombie to beauty (well, kind of).

I also plan on brightening my eyes with Eye Basics which creates the perfect canvas for eyes by camouflaging eye imperfections and enhancing the durability of eye makeup. I use this daily in the color Flax, and I even like the way it looks on it's own.   I love that it comes in an easy applicator, so I can carry it in my purse for touch-ups.

For New Year's Eve, we are having a rockin' eve at home with our little one and some guests.  I will add some extra eye flair with Metallic Creme Eye Colour, which adds a lightweight shimmer and sheen to my lids.  It gives me the extra sparkle I need so when I crash by 10:30pm, I don't feel as guilty (at least I looked festive).

Ring in the New Year looking and feeling your best!

  1. Still love Laura Mercier concealers. These days, I love the Secret Concealer in #1. After hitting thirty, this has been ideal for me, for under eyes.
