I was fortunate enough to do a review of the Siliskin Glass by Silikids a while back. I became a little obsessed with their whole product line. Lots of friends and their kids received a few gifts from the Silikids line, and all are extremely happy.
Silicone is an amazing product. Silicone in non-toxic, hypo allergenic and it does not harbor or promote bacteria and fungus growth, which also means no odor. You can boil it to sterilize it and it is dishwasher and washer/dryer safe (for the bibs and knee pads). Best of all it is BPA, lead, PVC and phathalate free. Silicone is made from silicon which is a natural element and one of the most abundant on earth. It does not decompose but is recyclable (mainly through speciality recycling facilities) but you can send your products back to Silikids and they will recycle it for you. Because of its durability you can reuse it again and again so there is less waste.
Silikids now makes and assortment of Siliskins for your glass and aluminum bottles and different containers. This Siliskins add extra grip for your little ones, and extra protection for those bottles and containers. We got the small wideneck for our Klean Kanteen 12oz. It is my daughter's go to drink bottle and it shows! She is constantly dropping it (or throwing it during a tantrum). We put the Siliskin on and it looks amazing. It also is a huge help in keeping the bottle in her hand. Silikids is giving you the readers a chance to win a small wideneck Siliskin of your own. Here's how:
