North American Bear Co., Inc. Giveaway

North American Bear Co., Inc. was started by a mother 30 years ago in NYC. She wanted to find a teddy bear with the charm of antique toys. That idea has grown into a toy company with the most deliciously soft and cuddly toys. There is no doubt you have seen one of their toys in a store. The creations are simple, yet attract children of all ages with their whimsy and softness.
Some of my favorites are the Topsy Turvy Dolls. Each one flips over to reveal another storybook character. We have Cinderella and I find it is a great interactive way to bring a fairy tale to life. We use the doll to tell the story. There are so many Topsy Turvy dolls to choose from, you can definitely find your child's favorite fairy tale character. As your child grows, they can develop the story on their own.

Another one their wonderful creations are the Rosy Cheeks Big Sister Dolls. Each doll is a contemporary rag doll with soft jersey knit body, long yarn hair, removable outfit and maryjane soft shoes. They make getting dressed for the day fun through practical play! Even better...you can choose many different outfits for your doll. Children love practicing the things we adults find mundane...like getting dressed. It is a great bonding experience for a child to love, dress and pretend to feed a baby doll. The Big Sister dolls are so soft and are the kind of item your child can love and love and maybe pass down to their child someday! They really are heirlooms. I love the simple features.
Perhaps the current favorite in this household is the Secret Pocket Cape. Each cape is doubled layered satin with Velcro closure, four inside pockets keep trinkets safe and clear vinyl shield back pocket displays the insignia or child's own artwork (3 cape inserts
included). My daughter wants to wear hers everywhere and loves stashing her favorite items in the pockets.
With so much to choose from, for both boys and girls, this is a Toy Company that thinks about children and their wonderful capacity for using their imagination.
