blabla

I have coveted the blabla line for a long time. I love the whimsical designs and colors. For my daughter's birthday, we bought her the "Anemone" Mermaid doll. It is so soft, and the go-to toy for her at night. She is obsessed with Disney's Little Mermaid, but I hate all of the commercial items out there. Her blabla Mermaid is just perfect! She loves pretending to feed her, and is enchanted with the Mermaid's belly button. Classic blabla dolls come in either a large or smaller size. Large ones usually measure 18" tall and small measure about 12". blabla's collection is designed by Florence Wetterwald and then knit by Peruvian artisans. Each item is made from natural fibers grown in Peru. We have holiday plans to get her one of the new Doll Babies, as you can change their clothes and dress them (a big plus in our house). We were recently sent one of the Backpacks. All of the backpacks are the same soft handmade knits and are just as wonderful and colorful. I have a mission to find good little backpacks for us to bring when we fly or go on a long car trip, so my daughter can have her own little bag.





Plus, my child loves to fill bags with different things she find. The Giraffe one we received is perfect. The Backpacks measure about 10"x8" and can fit quite a bit. The straps are not adjustable, but are stretchy enough to accommodate different sized children. Our Giraffe backpack has been dubbed "Julia", but my daughter names everything "Julia". We have no idea where she even heard the name. It is so colorful and goes with everything.
