Tinytongs...making eating easier!

Tinytongs is an eating utensil created by two parents who were frustrated watching their three children eat. The transition from finger eating to using traditional utensils was not going smoothly. As any parent knows, it can be tricky for young children to keep the food on the fork or spoon. So they created Tinytongs. Tinytongs are ergonimically shaped for children, and have a non-slip grip. They have posable grip ends to fit the pinch of the gripper to the child using it. It allows the child to easily get a bite-sized amount into their mouths, as the bottom is fork-like and grips the food. Tinytongs are completely free of sharp edges and are non-toxic, dishwasher safe and are lead, BPA and phthalate free.

When I was first sent Tinytongs, I was a little skeptical. I could not imagine how it would make mealtime easier, as I figured my two year old would have a hard time figuring it out. Turns out, i was very very wrong. She was easily able to grasp her food. She ate blueberries, which usually slip all over, quite easily with the Tinytongs. I put them to the ultimate test of eating slippery kiwi, and it was a breeze for her. I know she enjoyed getting the food into her mouth without dropping it like she would with a conventional fork.

Tongs are often used in pre-schools to help children learn to use their pincer grip and develop their skill of holding pens and pencils to write. You will see children using tongs to pick up beads and little pieces etc. By using Tinytongs, you are actually helping develop not only better eating habits, but also their ability to write properly by practicing that grip.

This is a perfect stocking-stuffer, and something you will definitely want to get more than one of. And Product Mommy readers can get a 20% discount on their order at Tinytongs.com by using code pm20.
