beco Baby Carrier

I had the most difficult time using the conventional baby carrier they sell in ever chain store in the country. My daughter would never stay in it, and I think a lot of that had to do with the way it compressed her. I also had back trouble, and eventually abandoned using it. When it came to sport backpacks for hikers, forget it for me, I could not do it. Even when my child was only 9 months, my very expensive and much lauded backpack would practically topple me over, and no adjustment made it comfortable or wearable for my short frame.

I recently discovered the beco Baby Carrier. The beco Baby Carrier can hold newborn to toddler children, and is easily able to carry up to 45 lbs. You can use it as a front or back carrier and it is easy to use. It is machine washable, which is hugely important for parents, and it comes with a DVD and booklet to show you all of the wonderful ways that you can wear it. Instead of buying all separate pieces, it also includes a head rest (hood) and infant insert. beco was started by a mother, Gabby Caperon in 2005. It has gone under many new changes based on customer feedback. It really does provide impeccable ergonomic support and weight distribution. There is a large amount of fabrics to choose from, so you can express yourself. Each beco Baby Carrier is handmade. beco strives for sustainability and minimal environmental impact. They use the same hardware used by the US Army, so you know it is strong and that your child is safe.

I know I previously mentioned in other posts that I was a babywearing parent when my child was young. My daughter is 2 now, and still loves to be carried and cuddled. I am really short and she is really tall, and solid as a rock. I watched the DVD and immediately got her on in a front carry, and can 100% say, it felt comfortable. I was actually surprised by how very comfortable and easy it was. I do not think you can put a price on that. We got ours in the Lenka print. Usually when I test something like this out with my child, she kicks, screams and wants to "get down right now". She actually leaned her head on my shoulder and said "lets go out." This is one of those products that you keep saying to yourself "I wish I had this when my child was born." I will not live without it again. I am so in love that we are selling our expensive backpack which both my child and I did not like.

The beco Baby Carrier has wonderful customer service and they were even sweet enough to send my daughter her own little beco mini. I think it is marvelous, especially as a family grows and you want to make your child a part of the experience. She carries her dollies around (and sometimes a favorite stuffed puppy dog).
This is one purchase you will never regret. And for all you grandmothers, aunts, uncles etc. reading this...run out and buy one for your loved one who is a parent of a young child, I guarantee they will love it.
